Have visited twice, had an amazing day out and loved their gins.
Beautifully crafted Gin with a lovely presence of botanicals and that pepperberry pop is subtle but noticeable. Great with a standard tonic that doesn't mask the great flavour.
This is my go to gin. Has beautiful natural flavours. Love it xx
The whole experience at Kawal Rock was relaxed with a strong focus on attention to detail and education around gin making - specifically the Kawal Rock style. This was my first gin tasting experience (I had always done wine tasting in the Hunter previously) and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The uniqueness and integrity that goes into the selection is carefully considered, and multifaceted in that consideration. From the small, independent women owned business, to the tranquil vista and peaceful atmosphere, to the tasting experience that takes you on a sensory journey, the sweet little old staffy dog, to the beautifully designed bottles with their colours and gold embellishments, it’s definitely worth the short scenic drive to get there. Perhaps I’ll bring a picnic blanket and a light snack with me next time. I wanted to take all of the gins home because they were so good so ended up settling on the Kawal Rock Signature Gin, which I love, but now I can’t stop thinking about adding the Itchy Wombat to my collection and regret not getting it as well! This gin reminds me of sunny Saturday afternoons with friends, carrying you on a light high with great conversation.

This is definitely my favourite. Mix with Mediterranean tonic, lime wedge, on ice. The absolute bomb. Makes a mean martini.
